After this you can enjoy the downhill section before following the treelined paths on your return. The majority of the route is on gravel pathways or road, and there is one steep incline as part of your challenge.

Meeting point

The start line is located on the sports fields near the Pavilion Building.

All car parks are only a short walk to the start/finish area by the Pavilion within the Stormont Estate.

Disabled parking is available in the pavilion car park for blue badge holders only.

There is no drop off zone on Upper Newtownards Road, but access to the start area can be gained through the children's play park for pedestrians.

Please note the car park off the Upper Newtownards Road is closed to all vehicles for the duration of the event. A drop off zone is located in The Stormont Hotel Car Park.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE:

A road closure has been granted by the council for Upper Newtownards Road on the day of Race for Life Belfast.
