Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The main event area is situated in front of Temple Newsam house on the large lawn. This will be signed and clear how to find on event day
The roads around the venue can get very busy so please allow time to get to and from Temple Newsam. As parking is available at this event please avoid parking around the residential areas. A road closure will be in place on Colton Road, therefore please follow Event Parking signs which will lead you directly to the car parks, next to Temple Newsam House.
The course starts and finishes in front of Temple Newsam house. It is a beautiful one lap course snaking its way around the estate with lots of mud and obstacles.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part in the obstacles.
This event is unsuitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs due to the nature of the obstacles and terrain.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
