Course information

The Southampton route is a double lap of the 5k, taking you along the tree lined paths of The Common. The surface is relatively flat and on tarmac throughout so is lovely and gentle. Dogs are welcome at this event. With local supporters cheering you on, you are sure to have a great experience.

Meeting point

The meeting point is Southampton Common, opposite the playground. Please arrive 1 hour before the start of the race.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

There is no parking at the event on The Common. Please use public transport where possible. Southampton Central station is a 30 minute walk away or St Denys train station is a 25 minute walk away.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
