The Pretty Muddy Bristol route is a fairly flat course with mixed terrain that mostly follows the perimeter of The Downs, taking in amazing views of the Gorge and Suspension Bridge. This event has some extra challenges thrown in with some fun obstacles to do together. There are lots of opportunities for supporters to watch the fun at each obstacle and the whole event has a fantastic atmosphere.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Obstacle layout will vary from venue to venue and adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Please arrive 15 to 20minis before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time
Whilst this course is not accessible for wheelchair users given the nature of the obstacles, the event site is accessible. There are a limited number of spaces available on Stoke Road which is closed but accessible for wheelchair users and our volunteers and there is a park and ride service running to the site. The main event site is on grass, which is cut just before the event, and a variety of pathways across The Downs to allow spectators to watch participants as they make their way around the course.
