Course information

The 5k course is a flat single lap course using both the Knavesmire and the perimeter track of the racecourse. The terrain is a mixture of grass and tarmac pathways with lots of mud and obstacles for the kids to get involved with.

All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end.

Obstacle layout and shortcut distances will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
