Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line is on The Stray, in the main field off Oatlands Drive.

There is no designated car parking for this event as The Stray is easily accessible.

Harrogate Train Station is a 15 minute minute walk to the venue, and numerous buses run along The Stray on Knaresborough Road.

Public car parks are also available throughout Harrogate Town Centre which are in walking distance to the venue. Please arrive in plenty of time to get parked up and across to the venue in time for our stage activity.

Course information

The Harrogate Pretty Muddy course is a single lap flat route along the beautiful Stray. It is mostly all on grass and has a great atmosphere and lots of obstacles!

All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part in the obstacles.

Supporter / spectator access

There are lots of great spectator viewing points where family and friends can watch you along the route all within close proximity of the start and finish line
