The Crawley course takes you on a journey through Tilgate Park. The route includes paths through the woodland and around the Lake. The majority of the route is on pathways or road with a few woodland paths to negotiate. With local supporters cheering you on, you are sure to have a great experience.
The start line is located on the grass between the Play park and Tilgate Lake.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
Please use public transport where possible. There is limited parking available for this event in Gainsborough Field which is a short walk away from the main event site. Please note, you will be unable to drive through Tilgate park. For access to the parking please use Titmus Drive via Ashdown Drive where you will be directed by stewards.
We are no longer operating a park and ride service from the town centre, please see the metrobus website for local bus service options.
Please bring a change of clothes for your journey home, or a bin bag to sit on.
Due to the nature of this event it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
