The Doncaster 10k route is a double lap course starting just in front of Town Field Primary School. The route takes a double lap around the perimeter of Town Fields. The course is all on grass and is mostly flat, with the occasional slight incline and has a brilliant atmosphere.

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line is within the park of Town Fields, just in front of Town Field Primary School.

There is no event parking available at the venue, but there is limited roadside parking available on Town Moor Avenue and Bennetthorpe. If you plan on driving please car share where possible and allow plenty of time to get parked up before the stage activity begins.

The nearest train station is Doncaster Rail Station and there are a number of buses that run along Thorne Road, Town Moor Avenue and Bennetthorpe - all of which are accessible to Town Fields.

This course is all on grass and mostly flat with the occasional slight incline, so we would advise that it would be wheelchair accessible with assistance. However, the grass may become boggy in poor weather conditions, so alternative laps on the paths may be taken on the day if the grounds are unsuitable.

Supporter / spectator access

Don't forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. The course is open to spectators so they can watch you in action and cheer you through the finish line. There will also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change.
