Newcastle Pretty Muddy Kids
Sunday 3 Oct 2021
£0.00 Supervising Adult | £10.00 Children
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
The start and finish lines are situated within the Town Moor on the field adjacent to the Claremont Road bridge and Exhibition Park.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
No event parking is available at this venue. Please use city centre car parks or public transport where possible. Limited roadside parking is available on Claremont Road.
This single lap course begins on the Town Moor and weaves through Exhibition Park before entering the Town Moor once again. The majority of the course and obstacles are contained within the Town Moor. The Newcastle route is a flat course on mixed terrain including paths and grass. The main event site is on grass so may be slightly muddy underfoot depending on recent weather conditions.
There are a mixture of obstacles along the way including inflatables, climbing, crawling and mud!
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
Remember to bring a towel and change of clothes for the way home!
Unfortunately Pretty Muddy is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the event as an obstacle run.
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19.
