The meeting point is on the main avenue half way between Go Ape and the Animal Hospital.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we will be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as or when needed.
The closest tube stations to this event are Cockfosters (15minute walk) and Oakwood. Oakwood is an accessible station which is a 20minute walk to the event.
There is no parking at this event and cars parked illegally may be ticketed.
The Enfield 5K route is a single lap which starts on the tree lined avenue within Trent Country Park. It then moves to the grass and woodland areas where there are a few hills. The terrain of the course is predominantly on grass and woodland paths with only a small section on tarmac. The course is beautiful and scenic. There are lots of fun and muddy obstacles along the way to get you ‘pretty muddy’. (All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.)
Due to the nature of this event and the obstacles this event is not wheelchair accessible. Those with vision impairments are welcome to take part with a guide.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
