Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line is just to the left of the car park. Please arrive an hour before the start time to enjoy our pre-Race entertainment.

Enter the site via the main entrance, follow signage and you will be parked ready for the event.

Course information

The Ipswich Pretty Muddy route is a 5k course which runs mostly around the showground and is moderately flat. The route is on a mixture of grass and paths with lots of obstacles. There are plenty of cheering points along the way giving the whole event a fantastic atmosphere.

There are no changing or showering facilities at this event so you may wish to bring an old towel or similar for your journey home.

All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Due to the nature of the obstacles, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support your Muddy Kid! They can stroll around the stalls we’ll have on the day, while waiting to cheer your Muddy Kid through the mud pit and over the finish line.
