Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The meeting point is situated in the centre of Victoria Park.
A local bus service runs directly outside Victoria Park include 1 (Bruche), 1C, 1E (Westy), 11, 11A (Wilderspool), 47 (High Legh) 47 (Howley). The nearest train station is Warrington Station.
A car park is available free of charge at the venue.
The Pretty Muddy Kids 5k Warrington route is a circular route around Victoria Park making it the perfect setting for an event like this. The course is flat and on grass and tarmac throughout so you can enjoy the fantastic obstacles without worrying about too many hills.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. This will signposted on the day. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end.
Obstacle layout and shortcut distances will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
