Race for Life

10k is a great step up from our 5k events, that's still achievable for everyone. Join a Race for Life 10k event and help raise valuable funds for cancer-beating research.

Course information

 The 10K route is a double lap of the 5K, which travels along pathways and grass to wind it's way through West Glebe Park.

Meeting point

The event site will be on the large field, opposite the astro turf and tennis courts.

There will be strictly no event parking at West Glebe Park, and no vehicles will be permitted entry on the day of the event.  Please use town centre car parks and allow time to walk to the park.


Paid for Car Parks:

Parkland Gateway Car Park- accessed from Westcott Way (Postcode: NN17 1QB) is a 10 minute walk from West Glebe Park.

Victoria Place Car Park- accessed off George Street (Postcode: NN17 1QB) is a 7 minute walk from West Glebe Park.


Free Car Parks:

There are free of charge car parks at Dovedale Road, Studfall Avenue, and Chapel Lane, each being between 10 and 15 minutes walk from West Glebe Park.


Corby Train Station, Station Road (Postcode: NN17 1UJ) is a 12 minute walk from West Glebe Park.

Alternatively, you can follow bus routes on Cottingham Road: 2, 2B, 8, 67, X1 and X4

Unfortunately this course is not deemed suitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the terrain.

Supporter / spectator access

There will be plenty to see and do on the event site, from bouncy castles to face painting and food. If you would like to see your loved one out on the course, there are plenty of spectator points!
