The 10K route is a double lap of the 5K, which travels along pathways and grass to wind it's way through West Glebe Park. There is a mixture of terrains across some undulating fields.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The main event area will be on the large field opposite the astro turf and tennis courts.
There will be strictly no event parking at West Glebe Park, and no vehicles will be permitted entry on the day of the event. Please use town centre car parks and allow 10-15 minutes to walk to the park.
Please refere to Corby Borough Council's website for more information of free of charge and paid for parking in the town centre.
Paid for Car Parks:
Parkland Gateway Car Park - accessed from Westcott Way (Postcode: NN17 1QB) is a 10 minute walk from West Glebe Park.
Victoria Place Car Park - accessed off George Street (Postcode: NN17 1QB) is a 7 minute walk from West Glebe Park.
Free Car Parks:
There are free of charge car parks at Dovedale Road and Chapel Lane, each being between 10 and 15 minutes walk from West Glebe Park.
Train and Bus:
Corby Train Station, Station Road (Postcode: NN17 1UJ) is a 12 minute walk from West Glebe Park.
Alternatively, you can follow bus routes to the roads surrounding the park: 2, 2B, 5C and X4.
Unfortunately this event is not deemed suitable for wheelchair users. The course is all on grass which can become boggy due to poor weather. Throughout the park there are numerous small hills with steep inclines and declines.
There will be a limited amount of blue badge parking at the venue for spectators and the event site is just a short walk from here (approx. 50 metres). However, there is no vehicle movement permitted between 9:30am and 12:00pm due to the access road being used as part of the course. Please be aware that the event site is also on grass, which can get boggy in wet weather.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run around the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
