Course information

The Exeter 10k route follows paths and fields around the showground. The two-lap course means you’ll pass many spectators to cheer you around the course. The terrain is a mix of road, tarmac pathways and grass.

Meeting point

The start line is situated in the heart of the Showground, adjacent to the main arena. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

Car parking is available within Westpoint showground.  Alternatively, the number 9 or 52 bus from Exeter city centre runs approximately every hour on Sundays. The journey time is around 20 minutes and Westpoint is a request stop. For more information please visit www.stagecoachbus.com.

The closest train station Exeter St Davids is 6 miles from the venue.

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can stroll around the many stalls we will have at the event before cheering you on from some great viewing points on the course.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
