The Pretty Muddy Exeter route follows the paths and fields around the showground on a mixed terrain of tarmac roads and grass, with a few slight hills along the way. The course loops around, meaning you'll get a great view of all the obstacles still to come.
The start line is situated in the heart of the Showground, adjacent to the main arena. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
Car parking is available within Westpoint showground. Alternatively the number 9 or 52 bus from Exeter city centre runs approximately every 30 minutes on Saturdays. The journey time is around 20 minutes and Westpoint is a request stop. For more information please visit www.stagecoachbus.com.
The closest train station Exeter St Davids is 6 miles from the venue.
This event is not wheelchair accessible due to the obstacles on the course.

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
We will be giving away bottled water at the finish line. But due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and our plans to reduce single use plastics at our events we encourage participants to bring their own water or hydration fluids on the day.
