£10.00 Children | £0.00 Supervising Adult | £0.00 Supervising Adult | £10.00 Children
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
The start line is situated in the heart of the Showground, adjacent to the main arena. Please arrive 1 hour before your start time and listen to the commentator for instructions for starting your wave.
Car parking is available within Westpoint showground, however we recommend car sharing where possible to reduce congestion in and out of the venue.
Alternatively the number 9 or 52 bus from Exeter city centre runs approximately every 30 minutes on Saturdays. The journey time is around 20 minutes and Westpoint is a request stop. For more information please visit www.stagecoachbus.com.
The closest train station Exeter St Davids is 6 miles from the venue.
The Pretty Muddy Kids Exeter route follows the paths and fields around the showground on a mixed terrain of tarmac roads and grass, with a few slight hills along the way. The course loops around, meaning you'll get a great view of all the obstacles still to come and there are plenty of opportunities for spectators
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. This will signposted on the day. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end.
Obstacle layout and shortcut distances will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
This event is not wheelchair accessible due to the obstacles on the course.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you, they can stroll around the many stalls including face painting, a bouncy castle and refreshments, and cheer you over the obstacles which are easy to get to from the main event area.
There are no showers or changing facilities at this event, so you may wish to bring an old towel for your journey home.
