The terrain is a mixture of paths and grass, with a steep descent and ascent between Vernon Park and Woodbank Park. The course also takes in a lap of the athletics track. Due to the course in Woodbank Memorial Park being partly on grass, it may be slightly muddy underfoot depending on recent weather conditions.
