The Worcester route travels around the grounds of the racecourse and Pitchcroft Field and pathways. The course goes along a combination of pathway and grass and is flat, catering for all abilities.
The start and finish line is in Pitchcroft field, which is in the racecourse grounds.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
There will be no event parking at Worcester Racecourse, however there are plenty of public car parks in the city within walking distance. You can find out more by visiting the Worcester City Council website. Our suggestions include:
Pitchcroft/Moors Car Park, WR2 2WD – 0.3 Miles away
NCP Car Park Worcester Cathedral Square, Cathedral Plaza Management Office, 24 College St, WR1 2LU – 0.7 Miles Away
Newport Street Car Park, 3ng, 5 Newport St, WR1 3NG – 0.4 Miles away
City Walls Parking, WR1 2DF – 0.8 Miles
Please be aware that the nearest car parks to the racecourse will fill up quickly and therefore you may be required to park further away from the venue than expected. Please plan appropriately for your parking and walking time to the event.
This event is deemed suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. Assistance is required due to the nature of the terrain; the event site and start/end of the course are on grass and this can become boggy due to poor weather conditions. In some sections around the course there are paths which are uneven. However all sections of the course are flat.
There is blue badge holder parking available in Croft Road Car Park (on hardstanding). The event site is approximately 500m from this car park.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run around the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
