Course information

The 5k route winds itself around Yeovil Recreation Ground and also utilises the Athletics track.  The terrain is varied, a mixture of pavement, track and grass. 

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

 

Meeting point

The start line is situated in the heart of Yeovil College.

Parking

There is no parking onsite and we will be asking participants to utilise parking within Yeovil Town Centre.  

The nearest car parks are:

Court Ash Public Car Park, BA20 1HL (11 minute walk to Yeovil College)

Market Street Public Car Park, BA20 1HW (11 minute walk to Yeovil College)

North Lane Public Car Park, BA20 1EQ (11 minute walk to Yeovil College)

Huish Public Car Park, BA20 1AA (16 minute walk to Yeovil College)

Train

Yeovil Pen Mill Train Station is 1.4miles away, along with Yeovil Junction Train Station being 2.6miles away from the Yeovil College.

Cycling

There is a network of cycle paths leading to Yeovil College, which provides cycle storage space near to the event site.

The route has a mixed terrain with gentle slopes but is mainly on grass through Yeovil Recreation grounds. The event site and part of the route is on grass, and track. Yeovil 5k is wheelchair accessible with assistance but can become boggy and uneven in poor weather conditions.
