Course information

The Watford Pretty Muddy route is set in the beautiful, family-friendly Cassiobury Park. The course follows tree-lined paths and grass avenues, with a mixture of terrains. There are plenty of opportunities for your friends and family to enjoy watching you take on the obstacles.

Meeting point

The start line is in the main open field near the paddling pools.

The town centre car parks and Watford underground station are just a short walk away from the park. Buses such as 320, 321 and W1 serve Watford town centre.

The Cassiobury Park car park is closed all day and there tends to be a lot of congestion in the surrounding roads. Do plan your journey in advance and give yourself plenty of time to make sure you arrive an hour before the start time.

Supporter / spectator access

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you – there is a great atmosphere on the day! They can stroll around the stalls for face painting, refreshments and other family-friendly activities.

There are no showers or changing facilities at this event, so you may wish to bring along an old towel for the journey home.
