Course information

The Sheffield Pretty Muddy event is a single lap 5km route in the lovely grounds and woodland of Graves Park. The route is hilly in places, and is on a mixture of grass, paths and woodland tracks, with lots of great obstacles!

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line is in the main event field between the Animal Farm and Rose Garden Cafe.

Event parking will be available on the grass field by the Graves Park Pavilion just at the end of Hemsworth Road/Derbyshire Lane. Please ensure you arrive via Hemsworth Road and turn onto Cobnar Road to enter by the Pavilion, as the west side of Cobnar Road will bring you to a dead end.

Please note the venue and surrounding roads may get busy on the day so please consider car sharing where possible and arrive in plenty of time to get parked up and walk to the main site.

Disabled spectators and participants are encouraged to park in the Animal Farm Pay & Display Car Park which is located next to the event site.

Graves Park is also accessible via public transport. Several buses run along Hemsworth Road (closest to the event site), Chesterfield Road (A61) and Norton Lane, all of which have access into the park.
