Parking is available free of charge for this event at Pickering Park, Pickering Road, Hull, HU4 7AB. Please be aware there is a short walk from the car park to the main event site, so please allow enough time to get parked up and walk down before your event start time.
A limited number of disabled parking spaces will be available at Warners Health Club on Pickering Road, which would also be a recommended drop off area if required.
The nearest train station is Hull Paragon station, and the nearest buses would be to Anlaby Park or Boothferry Road.
The Hull Pretty Muddy Kids course is single lap 5k route mostly on flat grass. The route starts and finishes within Costello Playing Fields and passes Costello Stadium. Please be aware that in wet weather ground conditions on the grassed areas can deteriorate quickly.
There are a mixture of obstacles along the way including inflatables, climbing, crawling and mud!
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles for health and safety purposes.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
Remember to bring a towel and change of clothes for the way home!
Although this course route is mostly flat and on grass, unfortunately we would advise that our Pretty Muddy event is unsuitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids and pushchairs due to the nature of the obstacles.
If spectating, the event site, course route and car park are all mostly on grass, so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces. Please be aware that in wet weather ground conditions on the grassed areas can deteriorate quickly.
Disabled Parking is available at Warners Health Club on Pickering Road.
