Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
The start line is in Coopers Field. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
There is no parking at the event. Please use local car parks.
The Cardiff route takes a sceinc tour around the stunning Bute Park in the heart of the city of Cardiff following the River Taff into Blackwier Fields. Lush grassy, flat terrain and such close proximity to the attractions of Cardiff Castle make this an exteremely popular events with a fantastic atmosphere.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Obstacle layout will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
This event is not wheelchair accessible due to the nature of the course.

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
We will be giving away bottled water at the finish line. But due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and our plans to reduce single use plastics at our events we encourage participants to bring their own water or hydration fluids on the day.
