The Maidstone route runs around the lake and along the paths of this beautiful park. The course has a few inclines to challenge you and you will feel a sense of achievement once you have finished. Dogs are welcome at this event.
The meeting point is near the cafe in Mote Park. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
You can access Maidstone via junction 6, 7 and 8 of the M20.
When leaving by car, please exit by turning left onto Willow Way (left turn only, right turns will cause congestion to all) then take a right onto Park Way which will take you on to the A229. This will really help car congestion on the day of the event and get you home quicker.
This event is inaccessible for wheelchair users due to a sharp incline on the course. Unfortunately this incline is unavoidable at the venue. If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at raceforlife@cancer.org.uk
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. Please refer to the section ‘ how we are keeping you safe’ https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/your-safety for further updates.
