The Wolverhampton route starts and finishes in West Park. The double lap course follows many of the tarmac paths, passing the bandstand, boating lake, the conservatory and the play area. The course is run on tarmac paths and is mainly flat, but there are some inclines. It is an interesting course with a fun atmosphere.
The start line is in the main event arena within West Park, close to Southgate and the Tea Rooms.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed
There is very limited parking space around the venue so please use City Centre car parks. If parking on the roads please ensure you are aware of any restrictions that may be applied.
A limited number of disabled parking bays can be found around the outside of West Park. The event site and route to it are all on hardstanding ground.
The course is a double lap and it can get conjested at times. There is a slight incline on the course where some wheelchair users may need assistance.
