The 3k course takes in a scenic route of the park. The terrain is a mixture of grass and paths and can be undulating in parts. The event site is on grass. Because of the time of year, it may be slightly muddy underfoot depending on recent weather conditions.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
The meeting point and start line is in the centre of the park between the Tram Museum and Boating Lake. The finish line will also be within the similar vacinity.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
Parking is available at Heaton Park. Disabled parking spaces will be avilable.
Manchester City Council are now operating a Pay & Display system in all car parks so please ensure you arrive within plenty of time to purchase a ticket. Card payment and Pay by Phone options also available.

There are several bus routes which stop at Heaton Park.
We would recommend that this event is wheelchair accessible with assistance.
The course is undulating throughout with one large incline midway through. The route is mainly on paths, with some grassed areas. The event site is on grass.
