This is a 5k for everyone. This is thousands of people uniting with one purpose - to raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Course information

The course is of varied terrain and underlating thoughout, with great views of the Flash.

If bringing a pram or pushchair onto the course, please note there are some steps on the route.

Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.

Meeting point

The event site is based in the field next to the children's play area. The finish line will also be within the similar vacinity.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.


Parking is available at Pennington Flash. If you are a blue badge holder, please speak to the stewards on arrival and they will direct you to the correct parking area. 

Pennington Flash are now operating a Pay & Display system so please ensure you arrive with enough time to purchase a ticket. Parking is £1.50. 

On the day signage will direct you the the event car park.

Please avoid parking on resdiential roads surrounding the venue.

Due to steps on the course, and the terrian of the route we would not reccomend this event for wheelchair users.

The car park located at the venue has disabled parking available.

If spectating, the event site, the course and some of the car park is mostly on grass, so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces.
