The Chelmsford route is a cross country, undulating course, fully contained within the beautiful grounds of Hylands Park. The terrain is largely flat, on grass with some slight inclines.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
The start line is on the open grass area behind Flint Cottage.
There is free parking available at the venue. There will also be a designated drop-off zone inside the park, managed by stewards. Please do not try to enter the park via the main entrance for Hylands House off of Three Mile Hill. We ask that those driving to the venue follow the AA signage on the day. First Bus service 351 stops outside Hylands Park.
The car parks, event site and route are all on grass. Due to the challenging terrain at this country park venue, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
