This course is mainly on tarmac pathways through the park with a small amount on grass. It starts on the Showground, makes the most of some of the lovely wide walk ways surrounding the park and takes in many of the beautiful tree-lined paths within the park - these trees are usually in blossom when Race for Life takes place and it is stunning. It finishes back in the Showground. We advise that this is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance as there are two large inclines located near School Lane in addition to some undulating paths throughout the route.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
The start line is on the main showground area in Harlow Town Park.
The nearest car parks can be found at: http://www.harlow.gov.uk/carpark-townpark and the nearest rail station is Harlow Town.
With some undulating paths, we advise that this is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance as there are two large inclines located near School Lane in addition to some undulating paths throughout the route.

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run around the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
