This is a 5k for everyone. This is thousands of people uniting with one purpose - to raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Course information

The 5k course takes a scenic route through Sefton Park. Featuring predominantly flat footpaths, it gives some stunning views of the picturesque park.

Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line is within the park playing field off Mossley Hill Drive, near to The Needle statue.The finish line will also be within the similar vacinity.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

 

There is no official Race for Life parking at the venue.

Please use the surrounding area and on-street parking around the park. Please do park carefully and be considerate of the residents.

We would recommend that this event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The event site and course is mainly flat, with the course mostly on pathways. The event site is on grass.

If spectating, the event site is on grass so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surface. Please be aware that in wet weather ground conditions on the grassed areas can deteriorate quickly.
