This is a 5k for everyone. This is thousands of people uniting with one purpose - to raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Course information

The course is a single lap 5k, starting in front of the hall and heading down hill along the path. The course takes in a variety of terrain in the Woodland Park and finishes near the Visitor Centre.

Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.

Meeting point


The event site and start is located in front of Haigh Hall Hotel. The finish line will also be within the similar vacinity.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

Parking is available at Haigh Hall. Disabled parking spaces are available.

Haigh Hall are now operating a Pay & Display system in all car parks so please ensure you arrive with enough time to purchase a ticket

Car parking is at a cost of £3.

Due to the terrain of the course, and the incline on the route we would not reccomend this event for wheelchair users.

The car park located at the venue has disabled parking available.

If spectating, the event site, the first part of the course route and car park are mostly on paths, however the remaining part of the route will be uneven so those with accessibility issues may require assistance.
