This course is mainly on bumpy grass terain with some paved pathways too. It includes a couple of challening inclines that we advise are wheelchair accessible only with assistance. It starts and finishes in the Park near the boating lake and takes in both sides of Stanborough Park. The 10k is almost a double lap of the 5k, but includes a couple of additional loops to ensure the full distance.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
The start line is on the south side of the park, behind the boating lake reception.
Please park in the Stanborough South Car Park. Due to the road closure for the event, if you park in the north side you will not be able to leave until the final race for the day is finished. Parking is chargeable at a discounted rate of £1.50 flat rate with no time restraints.
Due to the mixed terrain and a number of inclines this event is only suitable for wheelchair users if they have assistance.

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. Please refer to the section ‘ how we are keeping you safe’ https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/your-safety for further updates.
