Date: Sunday 26 Sep 2021
Time: from 11:30
Young Adults: £14.99
Under 6 entry (Girls and boys): free and no registration needed
Venue: Stockwood Park, London Road, Luton, LU1 5EH View map
The course is confined entirely to Stockwood Park and is mostly flat but with a mixture of terrains; including grass, pathways and wooded areas. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k route.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The start and finish area is in the field next to the event car park field, alongside Farley Hill.
Parking will be provided free of charge at Stockwood Park. Please follow road signs to the venue and access the park through the Farley Hill entrance.
Please car share where possible and consider using public transport.
Unfortunately this event is not deemed suitable for wheelchair users due to the cross-country terrain of Stockwood Park. The course is mostly on grass and this can become boggy when there is poor weather. The start/finish area is also on grass but there will be spaces near to the event site that are reserved for blue badge holders, should any spectators require them.
If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at email@example.com
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run around the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. Please refer to the section ‘ how we are keeping you safe’ https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/your-safety for further updates.
