The course is primarily on hardstanding and grass. Starting in front of the main grandstand, the route heads out around the outside of the racecourse before running alongside the far side of the course along the access track before returning back to the finish.
Please be aware the ground can be uneven at times.
The start is located in front of the Grandstand - please park in car park 4 and enter through the gates.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your start time.
There is free parking available at the Racecourse. Please follow signage to Car Park 4 where you will be directed by stewards.
The bridge over the railway line allows access to the Main Racecourse Reception and Car Parks 4. Please note that there is no through access to or from Car Park 1 or Stroud Green.
The nearest train station is Newbury Racecourse, and this is within walking distance from the site. The Racecourse is also on a bus route.
The course is wheelchair accessible with assistance. There is a 1km section of the course which is on grass that is uneven and could become boggy in the event of heavy rain, however the first 2km is on a hardstanding pathway, and the last 2km also follows a path.
There are a couple of areas towards the end of the route that feature gravel.
Accessible parking will be available in Car Park 4 and the start/finish area is on hardstanding.
