The Clapham Race for Life 5K course is a single lap course all on grass or dirt paths, and winds up and down the common. It passes the band stand, Long Pond and Mount Pond before returning to the gravel pitches.
The main event site can be found on the gravel football pitches just off The Avenue (A205) behind Mount Pond. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we will be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as or when needed.
Please use public transport to get to the event.
The Clapham Common Race for Life is a 10 minute walk from Clapham South Tube, or a 16 minute walk from Clapham Common Tube.
The event can also be accessed from Clapham Junction (the nearest accessible station), a 25 minute walk or a short bus ride away. (Bus G1 - get off at Broomwood Road)
The Clapham common course is suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. Please note the course is predominantly on grass and bumpy dirt tracks, but is relatively flat apart from one small section which can be diverted without losing distance.
