The Middlesbrough route is a 5k loop of the beautiful Albert Park. The route begins next to the band stand and loops round the entire park before heading back to the event site, passing the fountain, tennis courts and the Mirador lower lake along the way.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
The start and finish lines are situated in the large field within Albert Park next to the band stand.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
There is limited parking available surrounding Albert Park with a small number of disabled parking bays within the park itself. Please use public transport, walk or cycle to the event. Middlesbrough train station is a 24 minute walk from Albert Park or alternatively there are a number of regular bus services. Please visit Traveline North East website which can help you plan your journey.
This event is recommended as suitable for wheelchair users with assistance due to sections of the course and the start and finish areas being on grass.
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19.
