The Brentwood route is fully contained within the beautiful Weald Country Park, and starts and finishes on the Belvedere Field. The undulating, cross-country route is mostly on grass and woodland trails and is moderately challenging. The 3k route covers the first 1.5km of the 5k route before turning back towards the finish. However, due to the cross-country nature of this course, it is subject to change, depending on the weather on the lead up to the event date. There will be no water available on the 3k route, other than at the finish, so please bring your own bottle if you feel you will need it.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
The start line is on Belvedere Field, overlooking the lake.
Event parking is free of charge, but please note that a charge will apply if you park in any of the Country Park Pay & Display car parks.
Please note to access the event parking area you will need to enter the park using the Cricket Ground Car Park entrance off Weald Road, not the Visitor Centre or Belvedere entrance. Postcode: CM14 5QJ
This undulating, cross-country route is mostly on grass and woodland trails and is moderately challenging. Due to the nature of the challenging terrain, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
