Raising sponsorship can sometimes seem daunting - but it doesn’t need to be. If you're struggling with getting people to sponsor you, don’t panic because we’re here to help.

We've created some fantastic fundraising packs to help you raise money for your Race for Life event. The packs have the tools you'll need to put them on including posters, money boxes and much more.

Here are a few ways to kick start your sponsorship and put the fun into fundraising.

    1) Get help with our quick tips guide

    Make sure you’re making your JustGiving page work as hard as it can. Packed with advice on how to spread the word, this guide is a must-read to get your sponsorship going.

    2) Hold a Bake Sale

    Holding a Race for Life bake sale is a piece of cake. We’ve worked with Tesco, our partner, to bring you some easy recipes that won’t cost a fortune. In this pack you’ll also find a poster to advertise your bake sale, cake flags to price your prized creations, bunting to decorate and a money box to collect those all important donations.

    3) Host a Girls' Night In

    Brush up on your hosting skills by putting on a fantastic fundraiser in your own front room. Whether it’s a relaxing evening of manicures and pedicures, a movie night or dinner, they all provide an excellent excuse to catch up with friends and family while raising money for your event.

    4) Put on a quiz

    Holding a fundraising quiz is easy with this pack. Included are four rounds of questions (and answers!) together with a poster, money box and more to make it look professional. All you then need to do is invite friends and family over to take part. Either host it in your house or go all out and hold it at a pub or local venue. It’s a fun and interactive fundraising idea that everyone can get involved in.

    5) Ideas for kids

    Fancy dressing like a superstar? Or challenging your little ones to a sponsored silence? The kids fundraising pack is crammed full of fun ideas and handy tips to help kick-start your child’s fundraising. Whether you’re planning to get the whole family involved or you’re organising an event at school there’s something for everyone.

    6) Download the Race for Life app

    For access to more fundraising tips and tools as well as the ability to keep track of your donations and how close you are to your target, make sure you download the Race for Life app. Available for iPhone and Android, it’s completely free and is the perfect companion as you gear up to your event.

    Need another sponsorship form?

    The easiest way for people to sponsor you is with a JustGiving page. However if you prefer to raise money in person then you can use the sponsorship form we send you in your pack when you sign up. Lost that or need another? Download and print more here if you need them.

    Why your fundraising is so important

    Did you know that we receive no Government funding? Or that every £1 you raise goes directly to our life-saving work? Tell your supporters that every donation, big or small, can help us save more lives.

  • Gift Aid it

    Encourage your friends and family to Gift Aid their donation when they sponsor you. This can add at least an extra 25% to every donation at no extra cost to you or your sponsors.
