Course information

Take in the atmosphere of one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues as you run around the legendary Aintree Racecourse. This unique route lets participants experience the scale and history of the Grand National setting.

The event begins on a tarmac path, giving runners a smooth and steady start before the terrain shifts across a combination of tarmac, grass, and sand. This varied mix keeps the route interesting underfoot while remaining accessible for all abilities.

The finish takes place on grass, offering a classic racecourse-style ending and a memorable final push in full view of the grandstands.

How your support saves lives

Over the past 50 years, our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK.

Thanks to support from people like you, we've funded pioneering research to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. But our work isn't done yet. We want to bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

The money you raise goes towards our research into more than 200 types of cancer. With you at the start line, just imagine how far we can go.
