Race for Life 10k is a more challenging event, but without any pressure. Take it at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere, or push yourself a little more. The events are chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. However you take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
Starting and finishing in Avenham Park, runners head through Miller Park and Frenchwood Recreational Ground on a mix of surfaced paths and grass. Gentle undulations add a touch of challenge, with the River Ribble providing a scenic backdrop. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k route, offering variety and atmosphere.
