Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 3k is ideal for families or groups doing their first Race for Life. It's a fun, achievable and an unforgettable day out! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere. However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
Historic Birkenhead Park is renowned as the world's first publicly funded civic park and served as the direct inspiration for New York's Central Park. The course takes in the park’s beauty and heritage in its entirety, including picturesque lakes, bridges, and woodland. The course starts and finishes on grass then is on flat tarmac paths throughout.
Click here to see the Course Map. Please note, this is subject to change.

Child entry is for children ages 6-15. Children can only be registered (and must be accompanied on the day) by a parent or guardian, or an adult over 18 who has the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian.
Adults who have registered for an event can bring children under the age of 6 free of charge, but they will not be registered participants.
Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start and finish lines are located on the field behind the Birkenhead Sea Cadets.
