Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 10k is a more challenging event, but without any pressure. Take it at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere, or push yourself a little more. The events are chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. However you take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
The finish line is on tarmac. The event site and start line are on grass.
The course is a combination of surfaced paths, road, woodland paths and track which can feature undulating terrain. There are some uphill and slight downhill gradients. The 10k is a single lap course.
Click here to see the Course Map. Please note, this is subject to change.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start and finish lines are on the front field closest to the Visitor Centre.
Please note there is limited to no phone signal within the park itself so it is advisable to arrange a meeting point prior.

By car:
General Event Parking: There is car parking available which will be signposted and manned by stewards on the day. It is around a 10 minute walk away from the event site across a grass field and then onto a surfaced path. Please allow plenty of time to get parked up and walk down before your start time. Spectators will not be charged National Trust entrance fees as long as they are in the same car as participants.
Drop Offs: Drop offs can be made at the visitor centre car park.
Blue Badge Parking: Blue badge parking is available in the main visitor centre car park. The journey from here to the event site is on a surfaced path and then onto the grassed event site.
Volunteer Parking: Volunteer parking is the same as participant parking. Please follow the general event guidance.
Electric Charging points: There are none available at this event.
