Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 10k is a more challenging event, but without any pressure. Take it at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere, or push yourself a little more. The events are chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. However you take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
The route starts with a loop of the lake within Delamere Forest and heads off onto a scenic route through the forest and beyond into local countryside. It involves a few inclines on undulating gravel tracks and ends with a climb to the top of Old Pale Hill, with spectacular views of the 7 surrounding counties. From there, you will descend back into the event site which is next to the visitor centre.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start and finish lines are located next to the Delamere Forest visitor centre and café.
