Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.

About the 10k event

Race for Life 10k is a more challenging event, but without any pressure. Take it at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere, or push yourself a little more. The events are chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. However you take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.

The start and finish is on grass. The course is on tarmac, grass and gravel, following the coastal cycle path.

General Event Parking:
Car parking is available at this venue. Please head to, Festival Fields Car Park, Llanelli SA15 4DP and listen to the  stewards and signage on the day. This is approx. 100m from event site. Charges apply - book ahead of time through the Mipermit app, parking code 715039.

Drop Offs: Drop off's can be available within festival fields car park. Please listen and make the stewards aware.

Blue Badge Parking: Blue badge parking is available at the event. Please head to, Festival Fields Car Park, Llanelli SA15 4DP and listen to the  stewards and signage on the day. This is approx. 100m from event site. Charges apply - book ahead of time through the Mipermit app, parking code 715039.

Volunteer Parking: Volunteer parking is available at the event. Please head to, Festival Fields Car Park, Llanelli SA15 4DP and listen to the  stewards and signage on the day. This is approx. 100m from event site. Charges apply - book ahead of time through the Mipermit app, parking code 715039.

Electric Charging points: The closest car charging area is, Crown Parade, Bridge St, Llanelli SA15 3LG, this is 1.2 miles away from the event site, approx. 30min walk.

Pedestrians:
If you are walking to the event, the event site can be located within festival fields car park and the water park. Please stick to the main path and head towards the amphitheatre.

Bus: Unfortunately there are no busses running on Sunday.

Train: The closest train station is Llanelli Train station, which is 1.6miles away, approx. 35min walk.

This event is wheelchair accessible with assistance.

Event Site:
The start and finish areas are on grass, which is flat and firm underfoot, it is surrounded by tarmac. The ground is unaffected by bad weather.

Course:
The route includes grass, gravel and tarmac. 
In poor weather, grass and gravel may become soft and slippery, which could increase the level of assistance required.

There are also inclines, with a maximum gradient of 30% an alternative route can bypass these but may shorten the course.
