Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 10k is a more challenging event, but without any pressure. Take it at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere, or push yourself a little more. The events are chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. However you take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
The Glasgow course starts in Glasgow Green and heads up Saltmarket, along Trongate, past the iconic George Square, before reaching the bustling Buchanan Street and down onto the Clydeside. The route is relatively flat and offers participants the opportunity to take in some of Glasgow’s beautiful architecture whilst soaking up the amazing atmosphere. The single lap 10k offers a unique and memorable experience of the city on a Sunday morning.
*Please note - due to planned road works in the city centre, the route is subject to change. Please check back on this page for updates in the lead up to the event.*

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start and finish lines are within Glasgow Green, by Nelson's monument.
