At just over 2 miles, 3k is ideal for families or groups having a go at their first Race for Life. It's a fun, achievable event for everyone – and an unforgettable day out. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Walk, jog or run or make your way around the course however suits you and help fund life-saving cancer research.
The course is set within Huddersfield’s historic Greenhead Park, beginning near the Greenhead Railway and Café in the Park. Participants complete one lap of the 2.5km route before a separate second lap adds the final 500m. Featuring hardstanding paths, rolling undulations, and short grass sections, the course offers scenic twists and turns through the park’s vibrant landscape. This 3k blends challenge, speed, and atmosphere for an unforgettable running experience.
