Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 5k is a great first challenge, no matter your age or fitness level. Go solo and join hundreds of people on the day, or sign up as a group with friends and family. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere! However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
The start and finish are on the large grassed area in front of Himley Hall. The course is on a mix of terrain with some sections on paths and some on grass fields. The course is very flat with one incline. The course passes the lake and Himley Hall itself.

We aim to make our events as accessible and inclusive as possible and you can find information here.
Our contact centre and on-site event team are available for any questions or requirements.
We would advise that, due to the nature of the venue, the route mainly taking place on grass and the uneven ground, this event is not wheelchair accessible.
Event Site:
The start and finish areas are on grass, which is mostly flat and firm underfoot, with some uneven areas. In wet weather, the ground may become soft and muddy.
Parking:
Blue Badge parking is available approximately 100m from the event site. Parking is on tarmac in designated Blue Badge bays, however the route to the event site is on grass. See Travel Information for further details.
