Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 10k is a more challenging event, but without any pressure. Take it at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere, or push yourself a little more. The events are chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. However you take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
The start and finish are on a mixture of grass and hardstanding. The Kingston and Kempton Park 10k course is a double lap on tarmac and is flat throughout. Small sections of the course travel over the racetrack itself resulting in slightly uneven ground around this area.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start is in the centre of the racecourse, please follow signs and take direction from stewards on arrival.

General Event Parking: There is free parking available in the main car park at Kempton Park Racecourse.
Drop Offs: There is a drop off point next to the main entrance to the car park at Kempton Park Racecourse.
Blue Badge Parking: Please use the designated parking bays in the main car park at Kempton Park Racecourse
Volunteer Parking: There is parking available in the main car park at Kempton Park Racecourse.
Electric Charging points: The nearest charging points are BP Pulse Charging Station, Staines Road East, Sunbury-on-Thames (0.2 Miles to Kempton Park Racecourse)
Public transport and pedestrians:
Pedestrians: Please access the park via the main entrance following signs between the grandstands into the centre of the racecourse.
Bus: There are local bus services to Staines Road East (290, 235)
Train: The nearest station is Kempton Park which is located in the venue's main car park
Cycling & Bike Racks: There bike racks available in the main car park.

This event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The majority of the course is hardstanding, but there are sections that cross over the racetrack, making the ground slightly uneven and small sections near the start/finish that travel on grass.
We aim for maximum accessibility at our events. Our contact centre and on-site team are ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have.
Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, and our Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
A QR code will be available on the main event site to access British Sign Language stage content for those who use BSL.
