Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 3k is ideal for families or groups doing their first Race for Life. It's a fun, achievable and an unforgettable day out! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere. However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
The start and finish are on grass. The course is a mixture of terrain and incorporates some inclines and declines around Lloyd Park.

The start and finish is on the main playing fields next to Lloyd Park tram station, just after the Lloyd Park Lounge Café.

By car:
General Event Parking: There is no specific event parking available at the venue.
Drop Offs: There are no designated drop off points due to the location of this venue.
Blue Badge Parking: Limited spaces in Lloyd Park Car Park.
Volunteer Parking: Main Playing Fields, Lloyd Park.
Electric Charging points: Char.gy Charging Station - Opposite, 19 Chepstow Rise, Croydon CR0 5LX (0.5m).
Public transport and pedestrians:
Pedestrians: Please access the Main Event Site via main playing fields next to Lloyd Park tram station.
Bus: The nearest bus stop is St Paul's United Reformed Church - 64 or 433 (0.6 m). Other bus options are the number: 403 or 455.
Train: The closest station to the venue is Lloyd Park Tram Station, which is a 2-min walk from Lloyd Park. The nearest train station to the venue is South Croydon Station, which is a 21-min walk from Lloyd Park.
Cycling & Bike Racks: There are approximately 35 free of charge bike racks within Lloyd Park.

Unfortunately, this event has been classified as unsuitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the terrain on the course route, this includes a grass event site and a large number of grassy stretches that can not be avoided on the course. People with visual impairments are welcome to take part with a guide.
We aim for maximum accessibility at our events. Our contact centre and on-site team are ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have.
Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, and our Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
A QR code will be available on the main event site to access British Sign Language stage content for those who use BSL.
